On June 4, 2020, the ” Association for Human Rights Lex XXI ” held a presentation of the “Report on the monitoring of public procurement in the Balti Family Medical Center and the Balti Medical College”. This presentation was possible by financial support from the National Endowment for Democracy. The event took place on the Zoom online platform and all the interested had the opportunity to participate. This time, special attention was paid to medical procurement, a topic that is now more relevant than ever in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition to highlighting theoretical issues related to the regulatory framework, participants were also able to familiarize with practical skills that would allow them to track and analyze the effectiveness of public procurement. This was possible by demonstrating the monitoring process on a web page in the given domain. In addition to the above, the organizers and presenters made a number of recommendations that can improve the situation in the field of conducting, monitoring and analyzing public procurement. The report will soon be available to everyone, both electronic and in printing format.
