The active citizens from Bălți analyzed the anti-corruption legal framework together with the CNA expert, Mr. Ion Pruteanu and the expert from the National Integrity Authority, Mr. Viorel Sochircă.
The President of the Association for Human Rights Lex XXI, Diana Grosu opened the workshop with the presentation of the project “Mobilization for monitoring” financed by the European Union and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation through the grant program “Grassroots Civil Society Development Facility in the Republic of Moldova”. Diana Grosu also encouraged the participants to get involved in the project activities and in the life of the community in general.
The beneficiaries of the project found out the attributions, competencies and activities performed by CNA and ANI in the field of ensuring the professional integrity of civil servants in the local administration.
Mr. Ion Pruteanu explained to the public the legal regime of gifts, inappropriate influences, integrity warnings, denunciation of acts of corruption.
The participants analyzed several declarations of assets and interests together with Mr. Viorel Sochircă and found out what is the conflict of interests and general incompatibilities for the civil service.
The workshop participants had the opportunity to ask questions.
