The late completion of the declarations of wealth and personal interests by the administration of the Balti Clinical Hospital remains a problem and an obstacle in creating a transparent environment within the targeted institution. Both the director of the institution, Mr. Rotari Serghei, and the deputy director of the institution, Mrs. Ala Condrea, submitted the wealth declarations late (Mrs. Condrea did not even submit her declaration once she got employed, contrary to the legislation in force).

In order to hold the concerned officials accountable, the first watchdog group within the project “Let’s Act against Corruption through Transparency and Good Governance” sponsored by the US Embassy in the Republic of Moldova, sent two requests to the National Integrity Authority, requesting it to investigate the two officials for filing their declarations of wealth and personal interests late.
