About the building of the military barracks in Bălți – architectural monument.
On July 3, the first watchdog group within the project “Let’s act against corruption through transparency and good governance”, funded by the US Embassy in the Republic of Moldova, sent two petitions to the National Council of Historical Monuments and the Mayor of Balti, Mr. Renato Usatii. The young people asked the concerned authorities to investigate whether or not unauthorized reconstruction works or other interventions took place on the building of the military barracks in Bălți (the building is in the register of R.M. monuments protected by the state).
