Civic activists, students, representatives of initiative groups, representatives of contracting authorities gathered yesterday, July 23, 2020, to listen, analyze and discuss the Public Procurement Monitoring Report.This time, special attention was paid to procurement in the field of education. The report presented the results of the monitoring of public procurement carried out by the Balti Railway Technical College and the “Alecu Russo” State University in Bălți. It is worth noting that the event was also attended by representatives of the contracting authorities, who had the opportunity to comment on the findings of experts, to answer questions from participants. Thus, the participants listened to the opinions of both parties, the expert and the contracting authority. In addition to the above, the organizers and presenters made a series of recommendations that can improve the situation in the field of conducting, monitoring and analyzing public procurement.The event was organized by the Association for Human Rights Lex XXI within the project “Mobilization for Monitoring”, with financial support from the National Endowment for Democracy.
