Today, March 9, 2021, the results of the implementation of local anti-corruption plans in Drochia, Floresti, Soroca and Edinet districts were discussed. AO “Association for Human Rights Lex XXI” and Balti University Law Clinic publicly presented the Alternative Monitoring Reports of these plans.
The event was attended by representatives of LPA and NAC as well as representatives of civil society, who had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the reports prepared and to express their views and suggestions on them.
The quantitative and qualitative results of the implementation of local anti-corruption plans were discussed. Also, the achievements and difficulties of the local administrations from Drochia, Floresti, Soroca and Edinet districts were accentuated. Finally, the Experts made a series of recommendations for each of the local authorities subject to monitoring, as well as for the national monitoring mechanism.
Alternative reports were developed under the Small Grants Program for Alternative Monitoring of Sectoral and Local Anti-Corruption Plans of the “Fighting Corruption by Strengthening Integrity in the Republic of Moldova” project, implemented by UNDP Moldova with financial support from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
